1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Social WorkGPT ("we", "us", or "our") governing your access to and use of the web application available at https://social.workgpt.ai and any related features (collectively, the "Service").
By accessing the Service, authorizing our application through TikTok, or publishing content with it, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
You must be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction, and old enough to hold a TikTok account under TikTok's own terms, in order to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Description of Service
Social WorkGPT allows users to connect their TikTok accounts and publish videos through the official TikTok API. In practice, the Service:
- Redirects you to TikTok's official OAuth 2.0 authorization page, where you approve the permissions our application requests.
- Stores the resulting access credentials on our server so that we can act on your behalf.
- Accepts a video file you upload, or a publicly accessible video URL you provide, together with a caption and a privacy setting.
- Submits that content to the official TikTok Content Posting API and reports the publishing status back to you.
- Keeps a record of your publishing history so you can review what has been submitted from your account.
We are an independent application that integrates with TikTok. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by TikTok Pte. Ltd. or ByteDance Ltd. All TikTok trademarks belong to their respective owners. Your use of TikTok remains subject to TikTok's own terms and policies.
The Service depends on the availability and behaviour of the TikTok API. Features may change, be limited, or be withdrawn when TikTok changes its platform, its policies, or the permissions granted to our application.
3. User Responsibilities
By using the Service, you agree to the following:
- Publish only content you own or are authorized to publish. You must hold all necessary rights, licences, and permissions for every video, caption, image, and sound you submit, including the rights of any person appearing in your content.
- Follow TikTok Community Guidelines. All content you publish through the Service must comply with the TikTok Community Guidelines and TikTok's Terms of Service.
- Comply with applicable laws. You are responsible for ensuring your use of the Service and the content you publish comply with all laws and regulations that apply to you.
You are also responsible for keeping your TikTok account secure, for the accuracy of the information you submit, and for all activity that occurs through your connected account. You retain full ownership of the content you publish; we claim no ownership over it and use it solely to deliver the Service.
4. Prohibited Activities
When using the Service, you must not:
- Publish spam — including repetitive, misleading, automated, or bulk content intended to manipulate engagement.
- Upload illegal content — including material that is unlawful, harmful, hateful, violent, sexually explicit involving minors, or otherwise prohibited by law.
- Infringe copyright — or violate trademarks, publicity rights, privacy rights, or any other intellectual property right of a third party.
- Abuse TikTok APIs — including exceeding rate limits, circumventing quotas, or using the Service in a manner that violates TikTok's developer policies.
- Attempt unauthorized access — to our systems, other users' accounts or data, or any part of the Service you are not permitted to use.
- Disrupt the service — through denial-of-service attacks, injection of malicious code, reverse engineering, scraping, or any activity that degrades performance or reliability for others.
Note: Violations may be reported to TikTok and, where a violation involves unlawful conduct, to the relevant authorities.
5. Account Suspension
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. We may do so immediately and without prior notice where we reasonably believe that continued access would harm other users, our infrastructure, TikTok, or any third party, or where suspension is required to comply with a legal obligation or a request from TikTok.
Where circumstances allow, we will notify you of the reason for suspension and give you an opportunity to remedy the issue. You may also end the relationship at any time by disconnecting your account within the Service, or by revoking our application's access from your TikTok account settings.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately, and we will delete the credentials we hold for your account. Content already published to TikTok remains on TikTok and is managed through your TikTok account.
6. Disclaimer
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including those of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, that any particular video will be accepted or successfully published by TikTok, or that defects will be corrected. Publishing decisions, content moderation, and account standing on TikTok are determined solely by TikTok and are outside our control.
7. Limitation of Liability
Social WorkGPT is not responsible for losses resulting from misuse of the service or interruptions caused by third-party platforms. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, nor for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Service.
This limitation applies to losses arising from, among other things:
- Downtime, changes, deprecations, or rate limits imposed by the TikTok API.
- Content that is rejected, removed, restricted, or delayed by TikTok.
- Action taken by TikTok against your account, including restriction or termination.
- Your own misuse of the Service, or content you were not authorized to publish.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by negligence.
8. Changes to Terms
These Terms may be updated at any time. When we make changes, we will revise the "Last Updated" date shown at the top of this page. Where a change is material, we will make reasonable efforts to provide additional notice before it takes effect.
Your continued use of the Service after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of those Terms. If you do not agree with a change, you should stop using the Service and disconnect your TikTok account. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
